Serving the Lord Through Music!
Most of my songs are here in this playlist for convenience. I am working on the order of the songs. It's hard to determine that. Maybe I should sort them in chronological order, though it's hard to remember that order. Several of the songs are very raw, only listed because I thought it was good to have a listen to them. They are the "demo" (in my own mind) versions of what will be (hopefully) a final studio version.
I write and record music for the Lord and for His glory. I don't charge for downloading my music (maybe I should charge, but who would buy it?). To His glory do I make music. What is the end product? The ultimate goal? To please Him and to satisfy my longing to make Him real to myself and to others.
I will continue to write more in this section (text), and (if the Lord wills, and doesn't return soon), to write, play, sing and make a good noise for the awesome God, the Creator of all there is!!!!
Songs in the Works
These are songs that I am currently writing, developing and recording. I upload them only so I can listen "On-The-Go" so I can determine what needs to be kept, changed and edited. Once the songs on this page are finalized, they will be moved to a new album. These are in their raw form, and sometimes it's actually embarrassing for me to even listen to them.
Take Away All This Sorrow:

I wrote this song on a day when I was feeling a "little blue", (something my little grandma used to always say when Cheri and I would visit her, probably because maybe she was lonely, that's why, once a week or so, we would go and see her!) Anyway, the day I wrote this song I had a friend and co-worker die of a sudden and massive heart attack.
Ok, now for the disclaimer --- the song isn't completed, there are errors musically and otherwise - it's not polished up yet. Oh, also, it's probably not the best song in the world, but... when I, as a song writer, write a song, I usually like it, and that is all the really matters.

Well.... "Have a Listen" (hit it Beatrice!) --- pez

In This Time We Are Living:

A song about the road that America (and the world) is traveling on - not good). We need to raise our eyes and look around, look up to Him the only One who can hear and heal. One day (possibly very soon), He will remove His church from the world, then, he will send them "strong delusion", and they will believe THE lie. What is the lie? That the Anti-Christ is God, and they will believe that the world is entering a great time of peace, when, in reality, they are entering into the Great Tribulation. A sad day.
As usual, this song is unpolished. A "Work in Progress". I'm a beginner at playing the banjo, what a challenge! This is the first time I recorded myself playing the banjo. I can't wait to see how I progess with time.

I'm Alive:

He gives songs in the night - literally. I woke up with this song in my mind, and in my heart a few days ago. In the stillness of the night, I grabbed my phone and hummed the tune and the first verse. I know from experience that I must record an idea instantly or I will forget it, its' happened too many times, I think I'm going to remember, but I don't.

As usual, this song is unpolished. The guitar and melody are on the same track so I can't EQ or apply any effects separately - no biggy.
The harmonies and mandolin can certainly be improved.

The Lord is always good and he will never leave me or forsake me - There is great hope for tomorrow and a brand new day!
Have a Listen.

Isaiah 12:

During our daily reading, (my wife, Cheri, and I), I read Isaiah 12. As usual, I choked up and couldn't read for several minutes. It is beautiful. The Word of God has THE most beautiful language ever written. Why? Because it touches the heart of all who believe. Nothing is better than salvation and the hope of eternity. I wrote the lyrics for this song today (12-22-19), and quickly did a rough recording so the concept is there. I have found that unless I record a musical idea, I will forget the moment. I also dusted off my condenser mic. It greatly improves vocals.

I'm going to have orchestral type interludes, as well as having my wife, Cheri sing some sweet harmony. So far, I love this song - Oh yea - It's incomplete as ALWAYS!
Have a Listen to "Isaiah 12" below!
