Most of my songs are here in this playlist for convenience. I am working on the order of the songs. It's hard to determine that. Maybe I should sort them in chronological order, though it's hard to remember that order. Several of the songs are very raw, only listed because I thought it was good to have a listen to them. They are the "demo" (in my own mind) versions of what will be (hopefully) a final studio version.
I write and record music for the Lord and for His glory. I don't charge for downloading my music (maybe I should charge, but who would buy it?). To His glory do I make music. What is the end product? The ultimate goal? To please Him and to satisfy my longing to make Him real to myself and to others.
I will continue to write more in this section (text), and (if the Lord wills, and doesn't return soon), to write, play, sing and make a good noise for the awesome God, the Creator of all there is!!!!
The Album 180 - The New Man
An album I started many years ago, it's just a shell of what I started out to record, the ground floor, the basic tracks. Now that my studio is almost reassembled, I'm thinking of polishing it up and making it what I once envisioned
It's a story of a musician who literally gets hit by an oncoming train while drunk, riding his motorcycle. He has a near-death experience and wakes up in the ER barely hanging on, then, seeing Jesus and hearing his Mama praying at his side, he wakes up, he becomes a saved Christian. He is Transformed. He has many questions as the album progresses. It'll be a challenge to complete this album. Maybe God will choose to give me insight and vision through the power of the Holy Spirit. At first, I called the album 180, I think I'll be coming up with a different name. --- pez
